Below you will find the - Guidance for the FY 2010 Welfare Assistance Distribution Methodology that was signed by Assistant Secretary - Indian Affairs Larry Echo Hawk on February 26, 2010. The end-of-year Financial Assistance and Social Service Report (FASSR) must be electronically completed by March 29, 2010 and sent to Ken Reinfeld of OSG.  A FASSR spreadsheet in Excel  format (one for tribes operating under a fiscal year and one for tribes operating under a calendar year).

In this Notice, the Office of Self-Governance establishes a March 1, 2010 deadline for tribes/consortia to submit completed applications to begin participation in the tribal self-governance program in fiscal year 2011 or calendar year 2011.  A copy of the regulations guiding the application and selection process (25 CFR Parts 1000.10 to 1000.30) is also provided.
